Heya!
I'm Toxie "I fucking hate drawing backgrounds" Moxie, and this is my somewhat unhinged bio. Enjoy.
I have my own website, here's a link if you want to check it out: https://toxiemoxie.se
And here's my instagram while I'm at it: https://www.instagram.com/toxiemoxie_official
I'm currently working on a cartoon series called CyberNet. I hope to bring it to life and make it into an actual animated show once I've finished creating a presentable concept for it. You can probably expect some artwork from that project to show up here in the future. Distant future. Because I'm really bad at uploading art even if I regularly finish new pieces.
I love creating characters and stories, and I love seeing them come to life before my eyes. Someday I'd like to create a game, or be able to contribute to projects and series that I love.
I began teaching myself how to animate some years ago. Animating tends to bring me a feeling of true euphoria, and quite often also a feeling of deep despair. One of the things I've learned since I began to animate? That you don't animate unless you really like to bring suffering down upon yourself... I'm kidding. However, the only way to solve the problems you bump into with your work is to keep returning to the issue until you find ways to solve it. Sometimes you will feel frustrated when things don't go how you want them to. Sometimes it will feel like you are banging your head against a wall, and the same can be said with many other forms of creative processes too. It's worth it for me though. I love seeing them come to life before my eyes, and I adore seeing the animation slowly grow and take shape before me.
Since I began painting completely digital pictures instead of drawing half traditional half digital ones some years ago, I feel like I've finally found my element. Drawing traditionally always felt so limiting to me, and wherever I turned it felt like I was slamming into walls. I had to limit myself and my creativity. Using my tablet makes me feel so free and happy.
And to wrap this somewhat rag tag bio up;
I'm swedish, which basically means I live in a country that lies in perpetual darkness most part of the year, which ALSO means that whenever there's actually any prolonged interwalls of sunlight I can't see shet. How do peoples eyes work in countries where you aren't deprived of light for half of the year? Is it good? Do you get blinded every time you go outside without 50 pairs of shades too, or is that just me?
I don't have Twitter, or Tik Tok, so if you see anyone with my name on there you know it's not me. Just in case anyone ever wonders.
Hello! Thank you for the watch and fav!
